Keiichi Morisato is eager to begin his university life, but luck never seems to be on his side. He struggles with club activities, romance, and everyday tasks, and his misfortune is literally the star that hangs above his head. One day, while his seniors are away, Keiichi is left to guard the dorm and must tackle a mountain of chores. Determined and kindhearted, he dutifully works through his duties. Just as he finishes the last chore, he makes a phone call to his senior, only to hear a reply that is not what he expects: “Goddess Help Line.” Moments later, a beautiful goddess named Belldandy appears before him from the mirror in his room.
