Description
Anne, an imaginative orphan who has spent half a year in an orphanage, arrives at Green Gables to begin a new life with the Cuthberts. Expecting the house to become her forever home, she soon learns that a mistake has been made: the Cuthberts intended to adopt a boy her age instead. Faced with this setback, Anne must decide whether she can remain at Green Gables, return to the orphanage, or possibly stay with Mrs. Blewett, an elderly, strict woman.
