Set in a near‑future Japan where terrorism has become common and the police are as ruthless as the criminals they hunt, the series follows Angel, an exceptional officer known for stopping at nothing in her pursuit of justice. Angel is paired with a new partner and together they investigate a series of murders targeting other criminals. These killings are carried out by a group of psychics who have banded together to hunt down the lowest scum of the city and bring them to a brutal form of justice. After several confrontations between the cops and the psychics, two of the psychics begin to question whether they are truly the good guys, while the third embraces killing over morality. As the investigation deepens, Angel must navigate the blurred lines between law enforcement and vigilante justice, confronting both human and supernatural threats in her quest for truth.
