Set in a fictional version of Germany, *Blassreiter* follows the sudden emergence of biomechanical entities known as Demoniacs, which rise from corpses and attack humans with ruthless, mindless aggression. These creatures can merge with virtually any technology, including cars and motorcycles, both commandeering them and dramatically boosting their performance. To counter the threat, the Xenogenesis Assault Team (XAT) is tasked with policing the Demoniacs, maintaining order, and uncovering the origins of the Demoniac phenomenon. Amid this chaos, several humans are transformed into Demoniacs, some wielding their newfound abilities for good, others for evil. Ultimately, one individual will ascend beyond all others, becoming the Blassreiter.
