Description
An anime that commemorates the 500th anniversary of Christopher Columbus’ landing in the New World follows the determined and dramatic life of the Genoese navigator. Born in Genoa, Columbus pursues his dream of becoming a sailor and takes a daring risk to find a new route to the East. Through moments of desperation and excitement, he ultimately achieves his goal, discovering a new land and embarking on extraordinary adventures. The series originally aired in Italy on Canale 5 from November 28, 1992 to March 30, 1993, and was broadcast in Japan exactly a decade later on the same dates, from November 28, 2002 to March 30, 2003.
