Description
Buddha Saitan follows 17‑year‑old Sayako Amanokawa, who dreams of becoming a journalist like the respected newspaper writer Kanemoto. After Kanemoto’s wrongful report on a corruption scandal leads him to commit suicide by jumping in front of a train, Sayako is suddenly able to see spirits and nearly loses her life in the process. From that near‑fatal experience she gains a heightened sense of the truth and sets out to investigate the real story behind the scandal. As she digs deeper, she encounters forces far more powerful and dangerous than she could have imagined.
