Description

Momoko Sakura is a spirited elementary‑school student who admires the popular idol Momoe Yamaguchi and loves reading manga. Because of her youthful age and small stature, she is affectionately called “Chibi Maruko‑chan.” She grows up in a small town with her parents, grandparents, and elder sister. At school, she is surrounded by friends, including her close pal Tama‑chan, the student‑committee members Maruo‑kun and Migiwa‑san, and the B‑class trio of “little master” Hanawa‑kun, Hamaji‑Bu Taro, and Sekiguchi‑kun. This light‑hearted series celebrates the simple pleasures of everyday life.
