Description
The film is an anime adaptation of Masumi Iino’s children’s stories “The Adventures of Tom the Small Cat,” illustrated by Yumiko Imai. Though finished in 1992, economic difficulties halted its theatrical release, and it was only shown on television in certain regions with occasional local screenings. In 2015, a successful crowdfunding campaign finally secured a theatrical premiere, after which the film was issued on Blu‑ray.
