Chocchan Monogatari is a feature‑length film based on the autobiography of Cho “Chocchan” Kuroyanagi, mother of actress Tetsuko Kuroyanagi. The story opens in pre‑World War II Japan, where Chocchan marries a violinist despite the objections of both families.
