The first entry in Tadao Nagahama’s Romance Super Robot Trilogy (followed by Chou Denji Machine Voltes V and Toushou Daimos). Thousands of years ago, the people of planet Campbell decided to leave their home world and seek new places to inhabit. One group, led by scientist Oreana, landed on Earth, but their mission was delayed. In the early 21st century, Oreana’s group awakens again and begins a plan to conquer the planet. The only effective defense against the Campbellians’ giant biomechanical slave beasts is the super‑electromagnetic robot Combattler V and its pilots.
