Ranma is a struggling private detective driven by a strong sense of justice. His partner, Rella, is a thrill‑seeking heiress. Together they navigate the perilous streets of Kirin Town, forming an unlikely duo. Their partnership is shattered when a confrontation with a mafia boss culminates in a near‑fatal car accident. Ranma wakes up at the scene, only to find that days have passed and Rella is missing. Determined to uncover her disappearance, he resumes the investigation, but at midnight a strange metamorphosis occurs: Ranma is replaced by Rella. From that point on, the two detectives must operate as a single entity, working in tandem yet remaining physically separated, racing against time to recover their original bodies while tackling new cases and battling the city’s most dangerous villains.
