Description
Crayon Shin‑chan follows the wacky antics and adventures of five‑year‑old Shinnosuke “Shin” Nohara, his parents, neighbors, and friends, set in Kasukabe, Saitama Prefecture, Japan. Many jokes stem from Shin‑chan’s oddly phrased, often inappropriate language and mischievous behavior, an example gag is him confusing his parents by saying “Welcome back!” instead of “I am back!” when he returns home. Initially, the series closely followed the original manga’s storyline; as it progressed, more episodes became anime‑original.
