The Crushers are intergalactic Jacks-of-All-Trades who accept any assignment for the right price. At the helm is Crusher Joe, who leads a small crew of outer‑space troubleshooters: the cyborg Talos, the alluring Alfin, and the indispensable kid sidekick Ricky. Their latest job involves escorting a cryogenically frozen heiress to a medical facility, but the mission goes awry when the girl disappears and the team is left liable for her loss. It turns out that space pirates are trying to manipulate the Crushers into doing their dirty work. Joe refuses to play the pawns’ game and tracks the pirates to their home world, where the four heroes must not only rescue their human cargo but also dismantle the pirate operation in a series of intense space dogfights.
