On Christmas Eve, Hiro Hirono’s bicycle is stolen by a girl who is chasing a thief that had taken her purse. Hiro chases her and finds her unconscious with his bike ruined. When Miyako Miyamura awakens, the two converse, and after ensuring she is fine, they spend the rest of Christmas Eve together. Later, Hiro learns that Miyako attends the same school as him, and their relationship grows, with Miyako developing feelings for him. Hiro’s childhood friend Kei Shindou, who has long harbored a crush on Hiro, becomes jealous, leading to a love triangle.
