A short promotional animation clip was released as part of a special Comic Blade Digital DVD sold at Animate. The clip is based on the manga *Erementar Gerad: Aozora no Senki* by Azuma Mayumi, which was serialized in *Comic Blade Masamune* and later in *Comic Blade Avarus* starting September 15, 2007. The series is a spin‑off of the author’s earlier work, *Elemental Gelade*.
