Description
Based on the horror manga *Mumako* by Fujiko (A) Fujiko, *Fujiko Fujio A no Mumako* is an anthology of three short stories. Each tale centers on a different protagonist who endures personal stress stemming from societal expectations. The only character that appears in all three stories is the side character Mumako, who, at the end of each narrative, grants a twisted wish that physically transforms the main character. The titles of the stories reflect the nature of these transformations: “Castle” (城), “Transformation” (変身), and “Slough” (脱皮). The series originally aired as a one‑time broadcast on the entertainment program.
