A young woman awakens in a deserted town, completely unable to read signposts or recall who she is or why she is there. The only clue she recognizes is the set of symbols appearing on her hands, which identify her as Agarta, the devourer of dragons. Alone and disoriented, Agarta must rediscover the purpose of her presence and confront the evils that lie ahead.
