Gendai Kibunroku Kaii Monogatari

The film presents six chilling urban legends that linger in conversation, brought to life through the Ga‑nime. In “Refrigerator,” a terrifying tale unfolds as an old refrigerator is discarded into a dried riverbed. “The Dharma Statue” follows a grotesque encounter with an out‑of‑place sculpture perched atop a building. “The Night Bridge” depicts a boy who experiences a ghostly encounter on a long bridge at night. In “US Army Surplus,” a man’s purchase at a flea market leads to an ironic demise. “The Railroad Crossing” examines the mystery behind continuous deadly accidents near a railroad. Finally, “I Want Friends” recounts a boy’s mysterious experience during a summer vacation in a peaceful countryside. These six horror stories are woven together into a single film.
