A prequel to the eponymous video game, God Eater Prologue takes place in 2065, six years before the main game’s events. It follows three wielders of the divine weapons from the Fenrir Far East branch, an elite military task force, who are dispatched on a mission against the powerful creatures known as Aragami. One of the three, Souma, later becomes the protagonist of the video game.
