Description
Kin No Tori is an adaptation of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale “The Golden Bird.” A golden apple is stolen from the king’s garden, and the king orders his three sons to guard the apples in turn to uncover the thief. When the youngest son, Hansu, presents a feather he obtained from the golden bird that stole the apple, the king instructs his sons to bring the bird to him, and Hansu’s journey begins. Completed in 1984, the film was shelved for three years before its theatrical release.
