Jun is an exceptionally intelligent young girl who devotes her time to inventing a wide range of gadgets. Her creativity leads her to build two small robots, Kichinosuke and Yukinojo, who become her closest friends. Because of her remarkable intellect, Jun enters college at a very early age. In her freshman year she meets a boy named Zero, who is a classmate but is older than most of the students due to a delayed education. Zero is passionate about motorbikes and rarely attends classes, which draws ridicule from his peers. Meanwhile, Jun’s youth subjects her to mockery as well. The two find common ground in their shared love of mechanics, and Zero’s empathy for Jun’s situation sparks a budding friendship, and perhaps something more, between them.
