Description

Makunouchi Ippo has just become Japan’s new Featherweight champion, and his first title defense awaits. His challenger is former Jr. Featherweight champion Sanada Kazuki, a medical student who is being coached by Hama Dankichi, the former rival of Kamogawa. Sanada works at the same hospital where Kumi is a nurse, and everyone there hopes he will triumph. As Ippo prepares for the bout, he must protect his championship and, at the same time, fight to reclaim his lost love.
