Description

When the rapid expansion of Tokyo threatens to destroy their forest, a band of tanuki resolve to protect their homes. Harnessing their shapeshifting abilities, they aim to stall the new development. Two of the most skilled shapeshifters are dispatched to Shikoku to seek aid from three sages, while the remaining tanuki focus on sabotaging the construction site, first by causing accidents, then by haunting it. As the humans persist, the tanuki are pushed to employ increasingly drastic tactics to preserve their home.
