Description
Hi no Tori is a collection of stories that share a common theme: the Phoenix, whose blood is said to grant eternal life to anyone who drinks it. Because of this, many people seek to kill the creature, yet in each tale the Phoenix is reborn from its own ashes. The stories span both past and future settings, portraying humans constantly engaged in conflict and always fearful of death.
