Description
The film follows the Chinese Tang monk Tripitaka as he leads his animal disciples, Monkey, Pigsy, Sandy, and Horse, on a long journey to India in search of the “Script of Wisdom and Truth.” Along the way, they arrive at a place perpetually engulfed in flames known as Flame Mountain. The film received the Best Animation Feature award at the 42nd Golden Horse Awards.
