Hunter x Hunter

Hunter x Hunter takes place in a world where elite professionals known as Hunters take on some of the most dangerous and prestigious jobs imaginable. From tracking ruthless criminals to exploring unexplored lands and uncovering legendary treasures, Hunters are respected for their strength, intelligence, and adaptability. Becoming one, however, is extremely difficult, requiring extraordinary skill and determination.

The story follows Gon Freecss, a cheerful and determined young boy who learns that his father, Ging, is not dead as he once believed, but a legendary Hunter who disappeared years ago. Inspired by this revelation, Gon decides to follow in his father’s footsteps, hoping that by becoming a Hunter himself, he will one day find and meet him. At just twelve years old, Gon leaves his home to take on the infamous Hunter Exam, a brutal test with a shockingly low success rate and constant risk of death.

During the exam, Gon forms strong bonds with other aspiring Hunters: Kurapika, who seeks revenge against those who destroyed his clan; Leorio, an aspiring doctor driven by compassion and ambition; and Killua, a gifted but troubled former assassin trying to escape his dark past. As their journey continues beyond the exam, their friendship is tested by powerful enemies, moral dilemmas, and the harsh realities of the Hunter world, shaping them both as fighters and as individuals.
