Description
Tsuyoshi, nine years old, has friends over for play. While playing, he trips and breaks a photograph of his mother holding a baby. The back of the photo bears a date, two years before Tsuyoshi’s own birth. Curious, he asks his father whose child the picture shows. The father explains that it is of his older brother, who died at birth, and through this revelation Tsuyoshi learns the preciousness of life.
