Takumi is approached by Ryosuke Takahashi, the leader of the RedSuns, who offers him a spot on a professional racing team. Before he answers the proposal, Takumi seeks revenge by challenging Kyouichi Sudou, the Emperor team leader who previously defeated him when his engine failed.
