Description
Filmmaker Nobuhiro Kawanaka has described the film as “sexier than sex itself.” It intercuts close‑up shots of a naked heterosexual couple with long aerial views of a bamboo forest taken from a helicopter. The edited version was projected and then rephotographed onto high‑contrast black‑and‑white film, which was printed in 80–100 types of color gradations at the laboratory, creating a posterization effect.
