Based on a children’s picture book of the same name, this Christmas story follows a bird that was raised by a tree after being abandoned. When the tree is cut down so that people in the city can use it for their holiday celebrations, the bird desperately seeks its adoptive tree mother. With the help of Jeremy, a penniless orphan who hears the bird’s tale, they search every tree being used in town. The cold and the long search take a toll on Jeremy, but when Santa Claus appears, the question remains: is it really him?
