Description
In Jewel Land, the Jewelpets, creatures with an innate ability to use magic, live in harmony with the witches and attend the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to learn how to wield magic with their Jewel Eyes. Ruby, a white Japanese hare whose magic sometimes fails, is tasked with traveling to the Human World to search for her partner. When she uses a card given to her by the magicians, she is accidentally transported to the Human World. There, she meets Akari Sakura on a beach en route to school. Initially Akari cannot understand Ruby because of the Jewel Land language, but Ruby gives her a special candy that allows her to speak and comprehend human speech.
