Kaibutsu-kun (1980) Specials

Description
The specials belong to the 1980 colored version of the Kaibutsu‑kun series. The first three specials were broadcast immediately after episode 25, airing consecutively on the same day as a tribute to Taro Sagami, the voice actor of Franken, who had passed away the previous day. Shingo Kanemoto assumed the role of Franken following these episodes. The remaining three specials were New Year’s episodes that aired after episode 57. Each special contains a single story that lasts approximately 15 minutes. In the regular series, two 15‑minute stories are paired in each half‑hour episode, but the specials occupy the full half‑hour slot, with specials 3 and 5 filling the entire duration.
