Released in theaters on March 14, 2009, prior to the final seventh film, Kara no Kyoukai Remix: Gate of Seventh Heaven presents an hour‑long condensation of key scenes and themes from the first six installments of the Kara no Kyoukai series. The film arranges the excerpts chronologically, beginning with the second movie, followed by the fourth, third, first, fifth, and sixth. While largely composed of existing footage, it also includes a number of new scenes.
