Keitai Shoujo Specials – DVD release This DVD edition contains the main segments from the original series and adds a dedicated epilogue to every episode. Episodes 1, 3 and 4 feature newly produced epilogues that were not part of the original broadcast, while episodes 2, 5 and 6 include about one minute of added content that expands on the main story. Episode 6 on the DVD is a recap of the core material from all five preceding episodes and contains no additional footage beyond that summary. The specials follow Hiro Aida and his friends as they go through everyday school life and experience their first romantic encounters, all tied together through cell‑phone messages. Each episode runs roughly 12 minutes, with the brief additions appearing only in the episodes that did not originally have epilogues.
