Description

Set in 2002, three years after the events of Patlabor 1 – Mobile Police, the film opens with the destruction of a United Nations Labor team in Southeast Asia. This attack sets the stage for a deadly terrorist plot that threatens to reverberate across Japan’s military. As evidence mounts of an imminent military takeover, the dispersed members of the original Special Vehicle Division (SVD) are forced to regroup and protect the city from looming danger. Complicating matters, the mastermind behind the operation is none other than Tsuge, Nagumo’s former teacher and former lover.
