Hanato Kobato, a sweet and naïve girl, arrives on Earth with a mission: to collect and fill a bottle with konpeito, sweets that appear after she heals a suffering heart. She gathers them because doing so will allow her to reach a special destination. Though her nature may seem odd, her genuine sincerity in helping others wins the admiration and affection of everyone she meets. However, she is forbidden from falling in love with anyone whose heart she has healed.
