Description
Time stops. A whale rises from a glassy ocean and spends half a day gracefully soaring across the skies. What makes this work extraordinary is the artist’s choice to employ the transparency and visual mass of 3D computer graphics only for the static ocean and glaciers. The people, whale, and ships are all hand‑drawn, and this contrast invites the viewer into a different world. It is a poem written in animation, a true fantasy creation. The project was a considerable undertaking, and the results are marvelous.
