Description

Hyuma Hoshi, a promising young pitcher, dreams of becoming a top star in Japan's professional league, following in the footsteps of his father, Ittetsu Hoshi. Ittetsu was once a third baseman for the Giants until an injury sustained during World II forced him to retire. Hyuma joins the famed Giants team, but quickly realizes the challenge of living up to the high expectations placed on him. Facing grueling training and a fierce rivalry with Mitsuru Hanagata of the Hanshin Tigers, he must unleash his best pitching abilities to meet the challenge.
