Lady Sheru is haunted by dreams of her past life as Pirotesse. She discovers that her beloved Ashram is being tormented by the soul of Barbas, who has taken the form of their former king, Beld of Marmo. Interpreting these visions as a plea for help, Sheru searches for a way to save him by entering the chaos realm with the Chaos Ring. Meanwhile, Redon and his friends are called to arms again as ancient creatures, sealed away for centuries, begin to surface. Their paths will cross once more, and the fate of Crystania rests upon their shoulders.
