Legend of Regios began as a series of English‑speaking cut‑scenes that appeared on television, featuring the characters from Chrome Shelled Regios as they watched the events unfold. The special, which is included with the DVD release of Chrome Shelled Regios, reorganizes those scenes, extends several of them, and presents the entire content with a new Japanese dub. It serves as a side story within the Chrome Shelled Regios series.
