Description
In the 37th year of the Meiji era (1904), amid the Russo‑Japanese War, Japan’s modest army seeks aid and employs its special flying ship, the Amanohara, powered by a benevolent demon, to strike Russia’s main base at Port Arthur (Lushun). Umakai Shintaro, a Russian diplomat originally from Japan, defects and travels to Sapporo to teach at a girls’ academy. That academy is unusual: it is housed aboard the Amanohara, and the five girls Shintaro instructs are known as the Raimu Unit, women who can summon powerful beings to fight for them. Shintaro becomes both their teacher and the general who leads them into battle, and the six embark on a strange and excessively erotic journey.
