This original video, performed by Hitomi under the alias Minami Hokuto, served as the inspiration for *Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha*. It appears on the *Triangle Heart ~Lyrical Toy Box* merchandise CD, released on June 29, 2001 to promote the eroge video game *Triangle Heart 3*. The CD contains extensive fan content, including several visual‑novel‑style stories called “mini‑scenarios.” One of these mini‑scenarios, titled “Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha,” portrays Nanoha Takamachi, a minor character in the *Triangle Heart 3* canon, as a magical girl and became the prototype for the later anime series.
