Toramizu Ginta, a young boy who dreams nightly of a magical realm, longs to enter it. With only his friend Koyuki believing in his visions, Ginta remains hopeful despite being ridiculed by others. One day a large door materializes before him, summoning him into the world of MAR Heaven. In this land, powerful weapons called ARMS exist. Initially fascinated by this newfound magic, Ginta soon learns that MAR Heaven has been ravaged by terrible wars in the past and that a looming conflict may arise again.
