Description
Thirty-five years after Lynn Minmay achieved peace between humans and the Zentradi in the original Macross events, the story follows Nekki Basara, a guitarist and vocalist of the band Fire Bomber. He lives in a less‑developed section of the flying colony City 7, which is searching for a habitable planet. Basara composes and sings songs, believing that music wields great power. During the colony’s journey, an unknown alien race appears and begins besieging City 7. Their attacks are unusual; instead of destroying the colony, they steal what is known as “spiritia,” rendering victims unresponsive and zombie‑like. In the midst of these battles, Basara consistently ventures into the center of the warzone, singing his songs.
