In a future where the moon has become a habitable destination complete with atmosphere and gravity, it also attracts tourists with its unique, rabbit‑like “long‑ears” creatures that possess magical abilities. Haruka Daichi, a solitary teenager, travels to the moon during his summer break to experience the long‑ears firsthand. However, his solo adventure turns into a perilous quest when he becomes entangled in an ancient conflict between two lunar races: the gentle long‑ears and the militant Jado, who seek to conquer the universe, revive ancient evil powers, and seize control of Earth. Together with the long‑ears, Daichi must locate three warriors capable of wielding magic to summon the legendary Mado King and confront the Jado threat, ultimately aiming to restore peace to the long‑ears’ realm.
