Description
Maison Ikkoku is a romantic comedy created by Rumiko Takahashi. The story follows the development of the relationship between Kyoko Otonashi and Yusaku Godai. Kyoko, a recent widow, moves into the apartment complex Ikkoku‑kan and becomes its manager, while Godai is a wannabe student, a ronin, struggling to pass college entrance exams. When they first meet, Godai feels love at first sight. Along the way, the other tenants, including the mysterious Yotsuya, the seemingly alcoholic Ichinose, and the brash Akemi, observe and occasionally join in, adding color to their lives.
