After a city is devastated by two colossal, omnipotent beings, scientist and sect leader Genzou Kuruma seeks to awaken a deity. To achieve this, he requires a special type of blood. His son, Shinichi Kuruma, and a young girl named Ayaka Sanders possess that blood, and Genzou will stop at nothing to capture them and harvest their blood for the divine awakening, an act that threatens humanity’s survival. Shinichi, together with Ayaka and their ally Tomizoro (Tommy), flee from Genzou’s genetically engineered soldiers, the “New Humans,” who can transform into monsters. Motivated solely by vengeance against his father, Shinichi, like the other New Humans, can summon various beasts from within himself. Using this ability, he vows to confront Genzou and prevent the catastrophic awakening.
