Shougo Yahagi is a young motorcycle enthusiast living in a world of hot bikes, hard‑rock music, and J‑pop idols. The general populace goes about their lives in peace, monitored by a computer program that takes the guise of the pop idol Eve, an arrangement most people are unaware of. Shougo focuses on riding his motorcycle and flirting with beautiful women, such as Yui Takanaka, a dancer in training. His life changes abruptly when his friend Shinji Nakagawa shows him the top‑secret project called the Garland, a sophisticated motorcycle that can transform into a robot. After the military ambushes them, Shougo hijacks the Garland and escapes into the city. With Yui and her friends’ help, he evades the military and slowly discovers that their seemingly idyllic society is actually an illusion.
