Meitantei Conan: Jomon Taiken Yatte Miyou! is an educational OVA in which the Junior Detective League, the Shounen Tantei‑dan, accompanies Ran on a field trip to learn about Japan’s earliest historical era, the Jomon Period. The OVA was released as a bundle with Shogakukan’s *Nijuuisseiki Kodomo Hyakka Rekishi-kan* (the 21st Century Children’s Encyclopedia History Museum) and features the animated characters superimposed over live‑action backgrounds.
