Twenty years after a devastating war reshaped the world, an old man and his energetic grandson Conan are the only survivors of their once‑large community. Believing they are the last humans on the planet, the pair are astonished when they find a girl unconscious on the shore of their isolated island. She awakens as Lana, explaining that she was lost while fleeing agents from Industria, a technologically advanced fortress island. Because Lana is the telepathic granddaughter of renowned scientist Dr. Briac Lao, Industria’s authorities seek her cooperation, hoping her abilities will help locate the doctor and tap into his expertise to access a powerful energy source. Despite Conan and his grandfather’s best efforts, they fail to prevent Lana’s recapture when Industrian soldiers arrive.
